On the 1st April 2025, after a lengthy process, the Taff Rocks Project Worker started her role with us.
Hayley's role of a project worker is vital for supporting Taff Rocks initiatives and make a positive, lasting impact on the community.
Her role is dynamic, requiring a blend of administrative skills, and community engagement, all aimed at creating positive, long-term changes for us and our community.
This post has been made possible with funding from Invest Local Ynysowen and, in order to bring the project worker's post into being, we have partnered with Trinity Childcare and Family Centre.
My name is Hayley Phillips. I’m a people-person with a big heart for community and creativity.
For over 20 years, I’ve been working alongside children, young people, and families - whether in youth clubs, holiday schemes, education, or grassroots community projects - creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, valued, and inspired.
My work has taken me from arts and crafts tables to employability workshops, from chaotic holiday clubs to quiet one-on-one chats - and I’ve loved every minute of it.
I believe creativity can unlock confidence, build connections, and help people find their voice, and I’m always looking for new ways to bring a splash of colour and energy to the work I do.
I am also one of the Taff Rocks Tempo Time Credits administrators for Taff Rocks.
Ask me for more information on this when you see me out on community outreach, events and representing Taff Rocks elsewhere.
